So, with our hopes of visiting an Iceland Ice Hotel in the future dashed, we started researching our other options. We discovered the 365 Ice Hotel in Sweden. We were going to be driving through Sweden on our journey to France from Norway. And, although it wasn’t winter, that didn’t matter because the 365 Ice Hotel is open all year round.

It was the start of a journey, which has brought the world to Torne River, and Icehotel first founded in 1989, a one-of-a-kind creation, which has now evolved into a magical hotel made entirely with snow and ice from the Torne River.
